“ Have been coming to this Pollo location for over 20 years. We can walk and often do to this location. The entire family loves the food. The place is quite, clean and the staff very friendly. There are plenty options to choose on the menu and the flavor is consistent. Worth mentioning that it also one of the spots where you can get good food at reasonable prices. The yucca fries are the best around, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and not very oily. On a recent visit I left my prescription sunglasses on the counter. I went back two days after with little hope but Ronny the manager and his staff were kind enough to keep them. They saved the day and I can safely drive again on these sunny Florida roads. ”

“ This is my go to destination for lunch time. Service is fast and friendly. Whenever I order food though the app, when I get to the store, it is always ready. The food is always warm and cooked to perfection. To date, all my orders are always filled correctly. They never make a mistake. Shoutout to Diana. Diana is such a hard worker there. She is always there making sure customers are taken care of and fully satisfied in a timely manner. The company needs more employees like her. She is a true asset. ”

“ I just had the absolute best meal from Pollo that I’ve had in years from this chain. My food was hot, delicious, and everything I ordered made it into the bag. I bought the family meal and figured I’d feed the chicken to my dogs if it sucked. This is 1000x better than the other locations. I’m willing to drive the extra 15 mins out of my way from Pines. Keep up the good work. **the store asked me to let them know what they did right and I couldn’t reply so I’m updating the review** I ordered the family meal which consisted of chicken, rice beans & rolls. The chocked was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. It’s usually overcooked, but this chocked was juicy and tender. The black beans were perfectly seasoned and were so yummy. I also had the sweet plantains & fried yucca with cilantro sauce. Everything I ordered was on point. I also ordered quato leches and OMG that was too delicious! I stopped eating at Pollo because their Pembroke Pines (85 & Pines) is the absolute worst and I was tried of throwing money out of the window. My husband suggested we give this location a try since it had been a few years since our last experience and I’m so glad I listened to him. Just please don’t let him know he was right because I can’t take his ego..lol.. As a former caterer I can usually find something wrong with the meal and this visit was the exception to the rule. We were even given the sauce, plates and flatware & napkins. Usually, the staff forgets one item. The lady at the window was very nice & professional and took the time to verify everything was in the bag before she handed it to me. The only thing I really miss is the unsweet mango tea which has been discontinued but I’m sure I was one of a handful of people who loved it. If this is a privately owned store, I would gather each shift together and let them know they’ve don't something right because so often they only hear the complaints. ”
